Reflections

As there was no official weekly photo challenge this week, Ailsa at Where’s my backpack? has posted a challenge and would love you all to join in. See here:: http://wheresmybackpack.wordpress.com/2012/05/12/reflections/

Have fun!

My entry was a shot taken while stucked in a traffic jam. Interesting to note that the traffic of the other direction was clear.

In the country I am living, the drivers would be impatient, irritated by the time wasted and trying all ways to overtake the other drivers. But at where we were, the drivers were rather polite and patient in taking their turns to filter to other lanes. That is one aspect of the culture.

Subconsciously, we were (including my little one) quite alright with the one hour taffic jam. No damage done. At the same time, we actually had the mood to enjoy the scenery outside.

Also, we had time then to reflect on our way of life and how we should take things in our stride. It was a fruitful time stucked in a traffic jam.

Lovely post, perfect for the theme of Reflections! You were lucky that you were stuck in traffic in an area with beautiful scenery to look at, being stuck in traffic on a grey and boring city street is perhaps not so enjoyable! Thanks for taking part in the challenge! xoxo Ailsa
